London Luxury, a home and bath products manufacturer based in New Rochelle, will get more than $100,000 in tax breaks from Westchester County for its planned $1.1 million move and expansion.
The Journal News’ Ernie Garcia reported yesterday that the Westchester County Industrial Development Agency voted to offer the company – which is planning to move to 270 North Ave. from its current location at 271 North Ave. – $30,000 in sales tax exemptions on the cost of building materials and supplies. The company is also eligible to receive up to $100,000 in sales tax exemptions. (Read Garcia’s story here).
IDAs provide companies tax incentives to move operations into local communities or expand them. With its tax savings, the London Luxury says it expects to add 18 to 20 sales, licensing and accounting jobs in the next few years, many paying $85,000 to $200,000 annually.
