The Civil Service Employees Association, Westchester’s largest union with about 3,200 members, has put out an ad against County Executive Rob Astorino’s proposed 2013 budget, which includes 126 layoffs.

It says county workers were on the job around the clock after Hurricane Sandy and “They earned respect and support.” The budget, the commercial says, undermines safety and preparedness and slashes services to vulnerable citizens. The tagline is “We can do better for Westchester.”
